Tides, bait and fishing are in my blood from growing up in the low country waters of Georgia and South Carolina. Calibogue and Wassaw Sounds were my backyard and gave me deep appreciation for coastal ecology and the richness of life in and around estuaries.
Equally beautiful is Puget Sound where I enjoy salt water fly fishing year round. It’s fall and Coho salmon are making their way back to the rivers and estuaries. They can be caught on a fly rod right off local beaches.
