I built a Finite Element Model of the gStent-BE and compared the force/displacement response with data from an experiment on my Bose 3220 Dynamic Tester. The simulation in this case used a very simple model for the material behavior of the stainless steel.
Brian Berg and his colleagues at Boston Scientific also reported a careful study of the gStent-BE radial force characteristics.
